Japan Navigator, hosted by Jake

Jake takes you to the Japan that rarely makes the guidebooks: people at work, quiet towns and neighbourhoods, and the stories behind what you see. Everything is in English, filmed where the work actually happens. Jake is the name under which our founder, Genki Tochimoto, hosts the channel. The person showing you Japan in these films is the same person who designs the journeys.

If you are planning a trip, the channel is a way to work out what you want from Japan before you commit to an itinerary. If you are not travelling yet, it is simply an honest look at how the country lives.
