Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to read and use this site, including people with low vision, colour vision deficiency, or people who use a screen reader or a keyboard rather than a mouse.

Standard we work toward

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the widely used web accessibility standard. This is a target we work toward, not a claim that every page fully meets it at every moment.

What we have done

As of September 2026, we have checked and worked on the following:

• Text and background colours checked by measurement for sufficient contrast
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, with decorative elements hidden from screen readers
• A logical heading structure and clear page landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer)
• Full keyboard operation with a visible focus outline, and a “Skip to content” link at the top of every page
• Animations that are reduced or turned off when your device’s “reduce motion” setting is on
• The language of each page, and of short phrases in a different language within a page, marked so screen readers pronounce them correctly
• Navigation that keeps working even if JavaScript does not load

What we do not use

We do not use an accessibility overlay or toolbar widget added on top of the site. Instead, we build the site itself to be readable and operable.

Known limitations

This statement covers wellnethy.com. We also run travel.wellnethy.com, takumi.wellnethy.com, craft.wellnethy.com, bes.wellnethy.com, and kotoba.wellnethy.com. In September 2026 we reviewed each of these against the same standard and fixed the issues we found. Craft DX Partner, Business English Support, and the kotoba tool site are Japanese-only. Third-party platforms we use, such as YouTube, Instagram, note, Substack, and Spotify, are outside our control and follow their own accessibility standards.
